Membership in Colectric Partners is open to all publicly-owned U.S. utilities which are subdivisions of a state or local government, or are a public utility as described in Section 115 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Participation is available through two Membership levels: Equity Membership and Associate Membership. Both membership levels allow the utility to fully participate in all Colectric programs and services. The Equity Members have an ownership interest in the organization, while Associate Members pay membership dues annually, based on a fee schedule linked to annual MWHr sales.
Regardless of the level of membership, participation brings a variety of benefits to public power companies, uniquely available through the Colectric Partners organization.
