Colectric serves public power utilities across the nation. Today, our members include the following systems:
Florida Municipal Power Agency, FMPA, is a nonprofit, joint action agency formed by 30 municipal electric utilities. FMPA is a public agency, whose primary purpose is to develop competitive power supply and related services.
Gainesville Regional Utilities, GRU, is a multi-service utility owned by the City of Gainesville and is the 5th largest municipal electric utility in Florida.
Formerly the Jacksonville Electric Authority, JEA
is Florida's largest municipally-owned electric utility and the
7th largest public power utility in the United States.
Owned by the citizens of Lansing, the Board of Water & Light and its employees have been serving the Lansing community for 120 years. Today, the Lansing BWL provides water, electric, steam and district cooling services.
MEAG Power is the nation's largest
joint action agency, the 10th largest public power system in the
nation, and the 3rd largest power supplier in Georgia.
Nebraska's largest electric utility, NPPD has a
chartered territory that includes 91 of Nebraska's 93 counties.
OUC is a municipally owned public utility providing water and electric service to the City of Orlando and adjoining portions of Orange County, Florida.
Santee
Cooper, South Carolina's state-owned electric and water
utility, is the nation's 4th largest publicly-owned utility
among state, municipal and district systems--based on net generation
and megawatt-hour sales to ultimate customers.
