Colectric Partners: Pioneering Solutions for Public Power
Colectric is a membership-driven nonprofit corporation headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. We exist to help our Members and Initiative Participants leverage economies of scale in ways that are otherwise unavailable to public power. For investor-owned utilities, mergers and acquisitions are the tools for capturing scale economies. For public power, the answer is Colectric Partners.
Colectric was formed by public power to serve public power in a variety of project and business management roles. Whether you're looking for ways to control the costs of your operations & maintenance requirements, or you want to streamline your power generation projects, Colectric has the solution.
Colectric Partners was originally founded by four utilities: JEA, Santee
Cooper, MEAG Power, and Nebraska Public Power District. Today,
three other public power entities have joined the founders as Members: GRU, FMPA,
and OUC.
